The serving room, pantry, kitchen, cafée, counter - this room has a lot of names, probably because it is the heart of the place. Here our clever chefs creates seasonal, good and well-cooked dishes from high quality ingredients in an open kitchen.
Our food philosophy is all about sustainable and high-quality ingredients

For us, the food and quality of the ingredients are important as well as choosing sustainable alternatives where possible. Among other things, all of our fish are MSC-labeled, the majority of the meat coming from Swedish farms in the local Mälardal area, and our vegetables being locally grown.

All of our dishes are cooked from scratch and without semi-manufactured products. The dishes are composed from seasonal ingredients, so we have different menus at different times of the year. The lunches are prepared the day before but cooked in conjunction with the lunch service. The conference lunches and dinner parties are always cooked à la minute and by fresh, newly purchased ingredients.

At Ersta terrass we serve lunch, coffee, dinners and other dining experiences based on our guests' wishes. Sometimes the kitchen and pantry room is used as bar when Hyllan is booked for a dinner or party.
